Physiotherapy is a dynamic profession, which uses a range of treatment techniques to restore movement and function within the body. Physiotherapy is a branch of healthcare science that mainly concentrates on the physical aspects of an individual's healthcare, by treating their physical ailments. Physiotherapy uses manual therapies, exercise programs and electrotherapy techniques to treat musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, sports injuries or back pain, Neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injuries and Cardiothoracic conditions such as emphysema, asthma, and chronic bronchitis.

Physiotherapy is an effective form of treatment for a wide range of conditions. It can also help to speed recovery after many different types of surgery. Physiotherapy is the system of treatment of disease and disability using physical exercises and helps to recover and rehabilitate a patient from a state. Physiotherapy seeks to improve movement dysfunction, promote optimal health and functions.
