Hospitality operation is a process of management of hotels, restaurants, travel agencies and other institutions in the hospitality industry. Hospitality concerned with a host as the welcoming of a guest into one's home or place of business, or a resting place, usually coupled with creature comforts such as chairs, beds, dining tables, and some sort of beverage and meal service.

Hospitality Operations includes the reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers, resorts, membership clubs, conventions, attractions, special events, and other services for travelers and tourists. Hospitality operations studies cover management of hospitality in hotels, restaurants, cruise ships, amusement parks, and destination marketing organizations, convention centers and country clubs.

3. Handling general enquiries on the hotel’s facilities and services and other tourism-related     matters

4. Inspect guestrooms and public areas

Courses and Eligibility

1. Student must pass higher secondary education or 10+2 with any subjects to get admission     into bachelor’s degree program.

2., BBA, BBM.

3. MBA in Hotel Management, Hospitality.

4. Certificate in Hospitality Operations( 2 Years).



Graduates in this field are employed in Hotels, restaurants, wide variety of companies that specialize in bed-and-breakfast operations, large chain restaurants, entertainment, amusement centers, senior living communities, airlines, cruise lines, sports venues, casinos, club management, conference/convention planning, catering, accounting, law, information technology, travel agencies, and many more. Graduates work as a Front Office Executive, Guest Relations Executive, Guest Services Assistant and Hospitality Services Executive.
