Animation is the optical illusion of motion created by the consecutive display of images of static elements and it starts with independent pictures and puts them together to form the illusion of continuous motion. Animation involves the appearance of motion caused by displaying still images one after another and animation is used for entertainment purposes

Animation is a simulation of movement created by displaying a series of pictures, or frames and it can be made with either hand rendered art, computer generated imagery, or three-dimensional objects. The most common method of presenting animation is as a motion picture or video program, although several other forms of presenting animation also exist. Animation is all about art in which animate objects are brought to life with the help of various modern computers based sequencing techniques. Graduates in this are known as Animators who design, create the pictures.
