Employment

Aeronautical Engineers are employed in IT companies and government owned enterprises such as ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization), DRDO (Defense Research and Development Organization), HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.), NAL (National Aeronautics Labs), etc. Aerospace engineering offers a wide range of roles in research, design, development, testing, manufacture and maintenance of aircraft, missiles and spacecraft. Aerospace Engineers are involved in applying the principles of science and technology to create aircraft; they undertake systematic manufacturing, assembling and modification of components, resolving issues of designing, development and testing processes. They also work on the different components that make up these aircraft and systems.
