Mechanical engineering deals with the two principles physics and materials science, Physics for design & manufacturing, and Material Science for analysis and maintenance of mechanical systems. Mechanical engineering is concerned with all types of machinery in industries and all aspects of their mechanism and functioning; the design, development, construction, production, installation, operation and maintenance. Mechanical engineering plays a dominant role in enhancing safety, economic vitality and overall quality of life throughout the world. It is the branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production and operation of machines and tools and it is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines.


Mechanical engineering programs include multiple semesters of calculus and as well as advanced mathematical concepts including differential equations, partial differential equations, linear algebra and abstract algebra. In addition to the core mechanical engineering curriculum, many mechanical engineering’s has specialized programs and classes, such as robotics, transport and logistics, cryogenics, fuel technology, automotive engineering, biomechanics, vibration, optics and others.

Courses and Eligibility

1. Student must pass higher secondary education or 10+2 with any subjects to get admission     into Diploma.

2. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

 

Employment

Graduates are employed in government sector, Automobile industries, chemical industries, manufacturing industries, steel plants, power plants, and as well as the railways. There are many jobs in mechanical engineering related to their fields like designing, manufacturing, robotics, production designing, mechanical designing. Mechanical engineers work in various industries including automotive and defense aerospace.


Graduates can join Bachelor degree of Engineering after completion of Diploma in related subject (3 years).
