Machine Tool Technology is a machine which is used to cut, mold and shape metal in the industries. Machine Tool Technology Program provides techniques of conventional and computerized machining with a variety of machines that are representative of today’s industry. Machine tool technology encompasses several skill areas, such as blueprint reading, drill press, lathe, milling machine, and grinding operations and within the trade there are also areas which use computer technology for design, production and inspection. Machine tools are machines that make machines.

Professionals in this field are known as Machinist, who operates repairs and makes the Machinery tools specially a skilled operator of machine tools. Machinist uses lathes, milling machines, and machining centers, to produce precision metal parts and the process is known as machining.

Courses and Eligibility

1. Student must pass higher secondary education or 10+2 with any subjects to get admission     into Diploma.

2. Diploma in Machine Tool Technology



Graduates are employed in manufacturing industries, machining shops, tool rooms. Graduates work as a machinist, machine operators, tool & die makers.

Graduates can join Bachelor degree of Engineering in Mechanical after completion of Diploma in related subject (3 years).
