Diploma in Environment Engineering

Environmental Engineering is an Engineering of science which deals with protection, preservation and improving the environment aspects for healthy environment such as providing good water, fresh air and soil resources for human habitation and living organisms on earth. The technology is concerned with the reduction of pollution, contamination and deterioration of the environment.

Environmental Engineering is related to Environmental science, is a broad field that deals with the principles of science and engineering to protect and improve environmental conditions. Environmental engineer deals with protection of wildlife habitat, preservation of species and the overall well-being of ecosystems.

Environmental Engineering includes the study and reduction of local and worldwide environmental issues such as ozone depletion, global warming, acid rain, automobile emissions. Environmental engineers actually design pollution controls and waste management systems like landfills, water treatment centers, air pollution controls etc. Environmental scientists and specialists use their knowledge of the natural sciences to protect the environment.

Specialty areas of Environmental Engineering

1. Natural Systems Modeling

2. Public Health

3. Industrial Hygiene

4. Radiation Protection

5. Air Pollution Control

6. Sanitary Engineering (municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment)

7. Wastewater Management

8. Recycling and Solid Waste Disposal

9. Geo-Environmental Engineering

Courses and Eligibility

1. Student must pass higher secondary education or 10+2 with any subjects to get admission     into Diploma.

2. Diploma in Environment Engineering.

Environmental Engineers are employed in private as well as government organizations, corporations and NGOs. They are also employed in various industries such as pharmaceutical companies, production firms and utilities, Laboratories and Municipal agencies.

Environmental engineers are involved in testing, operating and if necessary, modify equipment for preventing or cleaning up environmental pollution. Environmental engineers specializing in basic sciences, ecology, economics, social sciences, as well as civil, mechanical and electrical engineering have attractive career options.

Graduates can join Bachelor degree of Engineering after completion of Diploma in related subject (3 years).
