Computer Engineering deal with elements from both electrical engineering and computer science and combining the principle and techniques of these two for the making and development of computer and computer-based systems. Computer Engineering involves designing and testing of computer components and this is a field not only focuses on how computer systems themselves work, but also on how they integrate into the larger system.

Computer engineering is involved in many hardware and software aspects of computing, from the design of individual Microprocessors, Personal computers and Supercomputers to Circuit designing. Professionals who work with computer hardware and software are termed as Computer Engineers, who apply their knowledge of mathematics and science for the design and development of a computer.

Courses and Eligibility

1. Student must pass higher secondary education or 10+2 with any subjects to get admission     into Diploma.

2. Diploma in Computer Engineering.

3. Diploma in Information Science.



Graduates are employed in IT companies, research, private and public industries, government departments, business organizations, commercial organizations and the manufacturing sector. Graduates are involved in design, development and maintenance of software and are engaged in analyzing problems for solutions, formulating and testing, using advanced communications or multi-media equipment or working in teams for product development. They work as a Software/ Hardware Engineer, programmers, web developers and E- commerce specialists and many more.

Graduates can join Bachelor degree of Engineering after completion of Diploma in related subject (3 years).
