Diploma in Automobile Engineering  

Automobile Engineering deals with principles of mechanical, electrical, electronic, production, control and management of automobiles. The branch deals with the designing, developing, manufacturing, testing and repairing and servicing automobiles such as cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters etc. and the related sub Engineering systems. Automobile Engineering uses the features of different elements of Engineering such as mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety engineering.

Automobile engineering is divided into three stages like manufacturing, developing and production. Manufacturing consists of assembling and creation of parts, Developing consists of performance and durability of the vehicle, Production consists of testing and designing of components.

Courses and Eligibility

1. Student must pass higher secondary education or 10+2 with any subjects to get admission     into Diploma.

2. Diploma in Automobile Engineering.

3. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.



Automobile & Mechatronic Engineers are employed in IT industries, Private Companies, Government sectors, automobile manufacturing industries, production plants, service stations, state road transport corporations, private transport companies, insurance companies, motor vehicle departments. They can setup their own business and they can also take up teaching profession. They work as a Mechanical Designer, Instrumentation Engineer and Quality Engineer.

Graduates can join Bachelor degree of Engineering after completion of Diploma in related subject (3 years).
